Lead cyclists are to make sure the runners STAY ON COURSE and that critical signs are not missing on the course.

We are in need ONE cyclists per starting gate willing to leader runners to Exchange 5:
Start times are: 7:00 a.m, 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

Start Leaders will stay in front of the lead runner from the START o Exchange 5 (Park and Ride Lot on La Chollas ~ 23.55 miles)

Second lead (handoff) rider will start from Exchange 5 at 1:00 p.m. (or when the first runner arrives) and will stay in front of all runners, making sure all signs are visible (Park and Ride Lot on La Cholla) to Rillito Park ~ 26.1 miles)

This person will ride behind the last runner starting at 10:00 a.m. and then will drop back as the fastest teams start to catch the slower teams. Bike Sweep needs to stay BEHIND the slowest runner on the course and let Exchange volunteers know when the last runner has arrived.
